Currently Absolute Health is offering chiropractic, physical therapy, massage therapy, and acupuncture services.
Chiropractic and physiotherapy are primary health care professions concerned with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of disorders of the neuro-musculoskeletal system and the effects of these disorders on general health. Chiropractors and Physiotherapists are trained to diagnose as well as treat conditions that are related to the nerves, muscles, and joints throughout the body.
Chiropractic:
In order to become a doctor of chiropractic in Canada, a student must complete at least 3 years of a university-level undergraduate degree, followed by a 4 year accredited Doctor of Chiropractic program.
Physiotherapy:
Registered Physiotherapists in Canada are required to complete a 4 year bachelor’s degree and a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy at an accredited University. Upon graduation they are required to pass the national Physiotherapy Competency Examination (PCE) to work as a registered Physiotherapist in Canada.
